This letter is to inform you about the notification MACS received from the Department of Environmental Services regarding Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA).
We are required by law to annual notify you of our building’s status that no asbestos is present.
In 2017 the Hollis Upper Elementary School was inspected for asbestos during the second phase of our build out and the building was cleared of friable and non-friable materials. Based on the finding of the inspection MACS is not required to have a management plan for controlling exposure. It has come to our attention that we were required to annually notify you from 2018 forward of this status. This note will serve as your annual reminder.
